Weather permitting? No one ever heard of snowball? Got to keep the paint in the vehicle to keep it from freezing but it makes for an... interesting game. Just turn down the velocity a little to compensate for the sting.

Also very good to see the prices are much lower than that sign said. I'm rounding up a group from work to get something going. Actually a couple guys from the shop are trying to get me to get something going. I haven't wanted to because I haven't been to ortho for my knee yet (suposively they have the final say on what damage I did to it) so I'm not entirely sure what is up with it and I'm still waiting on some parts for my guns but the guys at the shop are very eager so we might work something out. And there is a part of me that wants to get some trigger time in also.

Might see about a STT event but a lot has to be worked out.

you guys should do a rag-tag tourney. when everyone signs in, they put their name in a box, can, etc. and then you call out names for teams (3 man or 5 man, depending how many show up) and have a tourney where no one (or almost no one) knows the other people on their team well (works really well for guys like me who dont have teams) and that way, everyone gets to play and meet new people.

dude rod and gun club membership is like $45. we just got in a dust blk ego with a red accent kit ( 05 ). it is like $850. we also got some tanks, packs, and uniforms too. sooooo.....................when you get back we hook up.

by the way that gun club membership also gets you discounts on paint, and all other products sold in the proshop. also access to the ranges (pistol, skeet, and trap and archery) pm me if you want more details.

hey do you guys ever do tournaments up there and if so what format do you use and what are the entrance fees and prizes? I'm stationed in Vicenza, ITY and plan on putting together a team to compete but its going to be kind of hard since i'll be putting everything together from scratch.

alright, we're trying to go on the 4th (if nothing goes wrong) but we need directions. and what are the entry/fills/rental prices (what types of markers is what all my friends want to know). everyone thats going except me is gonna need a full rental package, but i'll need a tank.

SO what's the news on tournaments?

I think I can get the Hohenfels ODR to work up a circuit, but that would mean Ghetto Woodsball, a field put together by a bunch of local nationals that work on the post (yeah, I'm sure they have F-stamps...). Huge field, like the good ole' days of 15 men per team. Games might last like 20 minutes, but that's okay if only 6 or 8 teams show up.

We're talking old school paintball. Not Scenario Ball or Speed Ball. But, crawling, flag grabbing, attack squad and defense squad, etc. Fun paintball that takes more thinking than your average inflatable, completely flat, referee-intensive course.

Let me know if anyone might be interested.

I'll be giving away a huge 8 foot inflatable bunker for the first place prize.
There will be a "trade table" available to consign all your old stuff, plus a whole bunch of stuff I've been holding on to for no reason whatsoever, such as Racegun Micrococker, Powerlyte Hybrid Cocker, BKO, Black Dragun, Misc Angel Parts, Barrels, etc.

Yeah, so email me if you think you'd drive the distance for paintball that might be a little different than you are used to. Also, if the tournament is Saturday, you can stay the night at Sunrise Lodge, and then go to Area 811 on Sunday.

Couple USAFE guys came out on their own and hooked up the woodland slice at Bad Influence Paintball Park. Wish I knew their squadron, so I could give a shout out.
Machete action...had my @ss worn out! But the good news is-as soon as we get the barrels in, and stomp a couple more trails, we can open woodlands up.
It's small, but lots of hiding places (underbrush).
Hopefully I get some netting in the next month...and a 6m snake too.
Little more patchwork on some bunkers, and we'll be full steam (3-5 man field "Front"; 5-7 man field "Back"; and woodlands) for the summer!

2.....the pro shop will be getting in the new EGOs. thats right we are getting the E-TECH EGOs. price should be around internet prices ($750-$775 depending on final cost to the store) so place your orders now!!!

3.....PAINT--this is always a hard apple to swallow here in germany. but we have some of the best prices around....getting in new paint by-the-way...
SPANK and ALL-STAR..prices lets say....come out and play it will be worth it.(under $60 for ALL-STAR as it stands now. once againmay-be a little more or probably less depending on the stores final cost)

thank you auge! vielen dank! even tho our grass wasn't cut, our back field wasn't set up, our net was a little torn, and it was hot as a mofo...but we'll take the compliment.
we aim to improve every step of the way, and the more good praise we get, the better it helps us sell our field and our players to the public and my bosses (to get more field supplies approved).

So yeah, going back to what Viper said. London Nexus' Captain, Tony Perez will be teaching a clinic at the Bad Influence Field (Heidelberg Rod and Gun Club) 7-8 October 2006. It's $180 for the whole clinic, with all goodies included. We recommend camping on site, as Team Bad Influence will be throwin' down that evening. That way, we can be fresh hungover for sundays shaolin lessons, right before we go head to head with TONY PEREZ!!!
Will have London Nexus jerseys on site for autographs from our sensei. Anyway. PLEASE SIGN UP with me or viper; we have slots for 40 ppl...and that's it!

Good lookin out Tasker, glad some one got a clinic at the MWR pulled off.

I spoke with the Dynasty boys at the MAX Masters the year I left about doing a USO type tour doing these type classes in conjunction with CMC so we could get as much exposure with them at the bases. Greenspan and Lang seemed pretty excited about it when I spoke to them. I setup the ground work but thats right around the time I left so I passed off all the contact numbers and info to the next guy after me but as I have heard the Red Baron has had a few changes of personel and lions share of problems. So who knows what ever happend to that.

Good luck with this and let us stateside boys know how it goes.

I had a great time.

My newbie team learned a lot. They need to have a bit more experience under their belts and maybe they'll put up a better fight. But not too bad for their first tourney.

My Gold team, needs to stay a bit more focused. We choked on a game we shouldn't have lost, but no worries because we still had fun regardless. I look forward to going to the next one and I hope Schweinfurt pulls their head out so we can attend their shin-dig and see their game.

Mad Props to all the teams that attended. It was great to meet Viper, Cappella, and Ian. You guys run a great squad of players and field. Hopefully our MWR ODR figures out how to establish Sup Air in our area so we can get out of the woods, but that'll probably be long after I'm gone.

I'm sorry for the late reply. I just checked my PBnation email for the first time since November. Hopefully I didn't miss tryouts, and if so I'm still willing to be a bench warmer. I would really like to attend Nuremburg with you guys in May. It's too late for me to restart Tri-Reign for that tourney given the number of guys that have PCS'd or sent downrange. I've been in the field since the first week in January and this will be my first weekend off since then. So I really need some trigger time. I have 9 scuba tanks and 3 boxes of paint to still shoot from last season. I have a practice regimen with some scrubs from here. 3vs1 and 2vs1 scenarios. I should be back up in tourney shape prior to the tournament. Let me know.

Uh yeah, Irwin could use a lot of help and funding when it comes to their PB plans. I just left there in June 06. Although the field is crap it is all we had unless you wanted to drive an hour and a half to SC Village. You wanna play real ball against real ballers do yourself a favor and visit "The Village" every now and then. There's 3 or 4 maybe 5 pro NPPL/X-Ball teams that call SC "home". I'm hoping to come back to Irwin in 09 hopefully somethings done by then. I had to drive to Victorville for air and fill 2 88/4500's and 2 68/4500's to play all day with the shocker. The 2 68's would hadle the EGO pretty much for the day on good 4500 fills. It's sure nice to ahve a local constant air source.
