You have to have a chrono, there is no way to get it close any other way.

The max you can play a is 300 on most fields, some less. Go either buy a chrono or go to a field to have it chronoed and don't do anything stupid.

it varies... if u have the velocity go up all the way, then guranteed the velocity is going to be over 300... turn the velocity all the way down and work ur way up... remember: righty tighty, lefty loosy..

speaking on velocity... I have an icon E LED and when I went last weekend paintballing my gun was shooting at 209 FPS MAX. With the knob turned all the way. They told me there was nothing they could do. Can anyone help me with making my velocity at the 290 level where it is supposed to be.

you typically dont want to up threads this old. it would be better off just making a new thread of your own. but, we were all new once and i'll help you with your problem anyways.
you might want to check your tank. if you are running co2, the less pressure in the tank, the less fps.
you could also invest in a spring kit. 32 degrees makes a good one. it would help with the problem of low velocity, and it would help with tuning.

yeah.. sounds like your mainspring is too weak so that even if you tighten it as much as possible the hammer is still not hitting the valve long enough to put out enough pressure. $10 spring kit will probably fix that.

..... HPA doesn't solve the problem.. HPA upps the velocity so high that you can't turn it down even with the velocity adjuster out ... you need a VA and a reg to adjust that.. and im not sure if this guy has the money for that ...
