hello-
its hard for me to get rides to places, i live in the lower pennisula. i need people to play with maybe a team to practice with, im a good 'gun mechanic, having many customizations of stuff of my own, and spend most my time tinkering. great at that sorta thing, but i need more feild practice. i knwo there is tag, vallejo, sunol, and modesto sites that i would love to get rides to, i can help with stuff and am willing to join a team. please email me jamescoop01@aol.com for more info about me
My team is from the City, we have three 5-man tourney teams and a rec team, i'll email you with the info.

where exactly is woodside? How far from san jose?
It's in between San Jose and San Mateo right off of 280, I pass it all the time on my way to work in Sunnyvale from Daly City.

you kick me (groan - that was bad), where do you play? i know brix & the crew play @ modesto & sherwood & we seem to go almost every week (well it seems).
Well I usually play at Sherwood, but my team's new homefield is going to be at www.extremepaintballfield.com in Modesto. We have a rec team that plays just rec email me if you interested brix@onebox.com

Yeah ALMOST, Kick you can contact Siva too! he's on the rec team as well, as far as I know there are no open spots on three 5-man tourney teams we currently have. Hey Siva you missed a great field on Sat, it was hot but we got a good work out. Wish us luck on sun for Best of the West.

i think those fields might be a little too far from me. I usually play at T.A.G. I was going to join the road to aruba 3-man feeder tourney at oroville but one of my teammates couldn't make it. I live in san jose. I think modesto is about 2 or 3 hrs from here.
Yeah it's a drive for us too (2 hour for us too, we have to leave @ 6am), but it's a great tourney field. sometimes some of us will go to TAG but some of the guys ref at Sherwood so we tend to go there more often

yeah just about 2 hours from here too. I checked out the site. Some good looking fields there. Is sherwood near tag? Which one is better? I want to try out a new field
but sherwood is in v-town. about 45 min north of us.
brix, i know i missed out BIGTIME on sat :( & next time i could go out & play is on the 18th. so i'll see u there (hopefully).

hey i'm going to be at tag this saturday. If you guys are going to be there look for a guy with a nice black 2k1 sto and my friend has a nice eclipse angel black with red splash. Or you could just look for a couple of guys tearin it up haha. Hope to see you guys there.

paintball jungle sherwood & the place @ mt. diablo
I've been to TAG and it's ok, but I like Sherwwod better. TAG has a sweet speedball course, but I think that Modesto's is way better in terms of tourney courses. TAG has FREE hot dogs though and I know that they are looking to expand and make more speedball fields

Yeah if you haven't been there recently, they changed the speedball field a little. There's sort of an X in the middle of the field and it's set up a lot better than it used to be.
There are 3 other fields that they usually play capture the flag on.
I'm pretty sure that they're expanding and building a hyperball field and also putting in a sup-air field. The refs there are friendly but they can get on your case if you break the safetly rules.
a decent size resting area with about 6 or 8 picnic tables with a tarp over them for shade And FREE hotdogs : )

do any of you have a link to the sherwood site (if they have one)? Or the exact address so I can look it up on mapquest?
It's in American Canyon the city North of Vallejo and 10 mins from Marine World. I believe the website is www.paintballforest.com it's about an hour and a half from San Jose, it's right next door (literally) to Carpet Bob's Jungle.

The Speedball field at TAG is modeled after a speedball field at SC Village... in fact, you can hit the center X right off of the break if you do it right. TAG is also building 4 new fields in the back

Yeah I always go to the x with my friend. It's fun tearin it up there. When will the 4 new fields be done and will they be open to everyone? I heard that they would only be open to sponsored players for practice.

I think that the owner will play some rec, but that field is meant for sponsored teams practice. He is looking to get his field up for a possible tournies like PanAm. I was looking to get my team sponsored by them, but the captain didn't go for it

I'm going this saturday to play at tag and we're going to talk to him about a 3-man team sponsorship. Maybe 5-man if we can find more players. : D can't wait until the fields are done.

hey, it never emailed me when u guys replied, so i havent really checked up on this, orry
right now im shooting a p68 really nice witha pgp as a sidearm, and im builing a mag (slowly...) ive got a piranha but its a project gun and i would rather play with the pumps. im a grat gun mechanic, and in a week or so il have stuff ready to play. im goin to go out with my friends, then i shoould be ready to play with some of u if i could get a ride there or something.
