Ball detent on ICON E

I have an ICON E and people have told me that the ball detent is similar with the cockers, so i ordered one. sure enough it's the same tread, but it's longer than stock, when i screw it in all the way, the bolt hits it.

what can i do to fix this problem?? :confused:

if you're good with a dremel you could mill out a side (not all the way through). or you could buy a new bolt. then you dremel away on that one. or, last resort of course, you could order another detent that was made for your marker. i googled it and came up with nothing. normally i post a site where you could find it but now i really dont know what to do. im not really sure how the "ball" style detents work, i use a nub. but if you can figure out how to take you old one apart, and switch out the parts, you should be fine.

Or just get a small o-ring that will fit over the threads of the detent to space it out.

LOL, been doing stuff like this since about 1996. You would be suprised at the lil tid bits you pick up. If you have any problems finding an o-ring hollar at me I think I have some around here somewhere. I'm in a good mood and will hook ya up if I can find em. Too bad you didn't get my name right, thats almost sig worthy.
