Gauge is broke?!?!

ok, i have used this promaster maybe 3 times and i air it up at a tourny like regular and the gauge on the HPR reads a little under 100psi? i was like thats weird. i bring it to the gun guy i bought it from. he said gun was working fine but gauge might be broken. what did i do wrong or did it just go out?

if the pressure was raised past the limit of the guage you can bust them....did you accidently screw in a hp tank when its tuned for lp??? ive never heard of a guage just breaking on its own....its usually related to a pressure spike.

It's an LP gun, and it works fine with HP tanks. I've used mine with a 50/3000 HP WGP tank, and a 68/45000 nitro duck adjustable and it works fine with both. Could just be a faulty gauge.

Did you contact ICD about it?

im just saying if he had the gun ajusted to a lp (450 output tank) and then screwed in a hp (800 output tank) the pressure flux on the reg may be significant enuf to spin the guage.

i only use a LP tank. a crossfire 70/45.never used any other tank. the weird thing is the night before the tourny i used the gun outside and it was fine, less than 24 hrs later with NO USE it goes busted.
