Hey, I have a few questions about the new Promasters..
Are they worth buying?
Do they chop and leak like BKO's?
Are they made decently?
Are they decent guns for the money?
The reason I ask this is because I own a 2004 BKO now, which I'm trying to sell, and I really don't like it. I was wondering if a PM is any better?

Ya what he said, nothing is quite better than playing shooting across the field on the brake and hearing people on the other team say wow that thing is fast.

Are they worth buying? You might as well be asking "Is paintball worth playing?"
Do they chop and leak like BKO's?BKO's dont have pds. Promaster do so they don't chop at all
Are they made decently? Of course. Better made than the ion IMO

There are your answers. Promaster is different than the BKO. its more like a freestyle and a Bushmaster mixed.

Here's a question.
What else is needed with the promaster to get it to run.
I know marco line kit and a ASA, but what about dow 33 to lube the gun?

imo this is the best gun for the money and it would still be a good seller if it was 200.00 more !

I've had two leak problems with mine already. I still haven't fixed my LPR leak, but the o-ring kit is on the way. I wish IGD would at least give you one of every o-ring you'd need on the gun with it. I had another leak problem where the screws in the back near the ram cap were too tight and were somehow pushing the QEV in an odd way causing it to leak (the store I bought it from fixed that one for me).
So far, for the money, I think it's worth it. For this amount, though, it ought to come with a clamping feedneck. Even the Diablo Wrath has one and it's $260 (the other gun I was considering).
If they really wanted to appeal to a broader market (Ion killer) they should have included a clamping feedneck and an ASA. If you factor those in, it's at least $440.
I would not have paid any more than I already did for this gun, though.

i have a bko too and im getting a promaster soon too. i shot one of these at the field today and it was amazing. im so used to shooting one finger with my bko to stop the chops and i just let it rip with this. its more accurate, smaller/lighter and less kick then the bko too.

hey, your bko has pds... for the price of bko + pds, you've already spent pretty much enough to get a promaster...

Not so much that they added, but that they took away. No tray (shorter profile), added parts from the Freestyle (reg, trigger, board?). Take a Bushy and take a ProMaster and put them side-by-side. They look nothing alike.

yeah the promaster has some freestyle parts. It can take fs triggers, has a freestyle v7 board (which has predator lite coding  ) also it has freestyle detents which manike aparently loves.
