Is the proving groundz any good?

i live an hour and 30 min away from TPG, so ive been hesitent bout the drive. is it any good? ive heard some really good things bout it and then ive heard tht it is terrible. i need an honest opinion. is byop or fpo? is it 28 bucks for only for half day? when is exodus and exodus kidz and all the other teams there? how are the fields? jus tell me everything i need to kno bout TPG

I have a huge revolutionary idea for you tony - Post a link to your threads instead of posting everything in the thread.


PG is a good place to go to if you live close or if it is blazing hot outside but if you live an hour + away then I'd suggest going to the field closest to you. When they get their new field up they might be cool to go to if you are an hour + away but I'd rather take the ride to SC until I see the new field done.. PG is good for me because I'm only 15 minutes so I can go daily if need be :). All in all - if you can't stand the heat, want to play durring a weekend, or don't don't want to get muddy then head to PG.

SCI is great and the turf is a nice change from doing alot of dives in dirt.

turfs for women, hit up some dirt and outdoor terrain and play where the real ballers are. except sc village thats an exception, well actually any other turf field other than PG!!!!

i've gone to the indoor sooo meny times and every time one of my friends gets hurt. last time i went one of exodus players shot my friend so meny times he had to leave. its a bad field not becuz of the turf but becuz pros and people like me are mixed together. if your running walk on games exodus teams should not be alloud to play!!! :xeyed:

Sounds like a common story here. I tend to not play walk-on's when a whole bunch of kiddies are playing... its stupid. I've talked to Ken in the past about telling the refs to seprate the kiddies from the REAL walk on's which are us!!! I'm sure the kid above is probably referring to one of my guys on Remix because they run TPG all the time with anybody on the field! LOL :P

its not fun to get blasted every time you walk on the field, the refs dont do jack about it. its illegal in nppl to continue shooting somebody after they are out. my buddy got shot so many times last weekend that he is telling his friends to never go back there. he playz in acton and sc all the time and never has that problem. plus he almost got into a fite cuz some stupid kid stole some of his paint! its ****ed up that some kid cant even feel safe going to play somewhere.

if you want to act like a bitch and say paintballers get shot as much as he did all the time, you can go screw cuz it aint the truth and it sure should not be the truth when your playin walk-onz!

I know this kid and I was there after he was hit. I'd say 25 times, almost a 1/4 of a hopper was unloaded on him AFTER he it the other guy first! The guy who shot the kid up was just pissed off and shot up the kid...

I really don't know anything more, but he was really upset... He left and won't probably come back.

I like the place and I will continue to play there , but Ken needs better refing so incidents like this won't happen anymore! I've had people over shoot me too, but I can take it.

25 is quite a bit sorry your friend experienced that. I was hit about 20 times once but thats still not 25. The comments about Ken is bs casue Once when I was there and one guy got shot up quite a bit and Ken was on the feild in a flash. Tony is a cool guy (I can vouge for this) and he can type caps if he wants.

God people learn how to take a couple hits, I had 4 hoppers unloaded on me. No big deal, I just stood there and took it. Tony was there he shot me, did I care, no. Maybe because I like to get shot sometimes, but it's paintball, it happens. Just take it and play another game, you won't feel it anymore.

For me it is worth the drive. I live like 25-30 minutes away and know guys from Exodus and the Kidz. If you have skills this is the place to test them and if you get shot 25+ times apparently you are doing something wrong. Once the NPPL field opens up it will be an even sweeter place to play. So dont take our opinion on it because as you can tell some HATE it and some LIKE it. Try it out and see which one you fall under the Haterz or the Playerz.

And I've met Tony and he is really chill so everybody should shut up...even though they need to have reffs on opposite sides of the field

DUHH, TPG is a great place to play. If you go, play and leave its fantastic! Just make sure you go during the afternoon's on weekends due to there being less private parties.

Since i already see that i have a missed call on my phone from Ken probably wanting to complain about my other comment earlier, If the proving grounds worried about its own field and kept paint in stock as much as it gets involved in all the drama on pbnation and happening around it, it could be a decent field but instead its owned by someone who constantly puts himself in other peoples business and likes to cause a scene. Since im probably banned for this comment and will be recieving numerous calls from Ken i just want to say use half the effort that you aim into putting people down and getting involved in drama into your field and team and you just may have a success.

The only missed call I have is from a telemarketer who usually asks me if I'd like to pay 200 dollars to receive a free trip to Italy. I guess thats because no one cares what I say :). Anyway, Its worth the drive during weekdays or when its hot. You'd have to make your own decision on if it was a perfect sunday. I can say its one of the best indoor fields out here because even when I used to work at Friendly Fire we'd turn business over to them but compared to every field SC wins because its 7 speedball fields + a ton of rec fields. You make the call. STOP ASKING PEOPLE TO CHOOSE FOR YOU PEOPLE.
