I read you article in the July PGI and I think is awesome how you guys rebounded from the Redz split. I also think its cool how the team stayed together and how old 'canes came back. I really don't know much about the players or the team but I am a fan and like to see you guys win.

Isn't it funny how Redz still uses pictures of the Hurricanes in their adds?

Advertising is very expensive especially the photo shoots and ad layouts. Sometimes it is just more financially beneficial to let the ads run. Also, maybe 10% (at best) of the paintball public know who the Pro's are.

I know advertising isn't cheap, and I don't know what the contract said about using the canes in advertising, but if I wasn't sponsored by a company and there were using my picture, I would be a little angry.
Ok, so I don't feel so bad about not really knowing the team.

thanks for the support....it was tuff when we left redz. Considering the amount of money they supplied and the lack of sponsors we started out with this year. But, we all decided to stick this **** out and be like dynasty. A group of friends who have been playin with each other since day one. You guys are right how no one really knows any of our players but thats understandable, only the top teams get the media. Don worry tho casue by next year i predict were be a top four team.

Bill: you don't know who Brickhouse Bob is?

Boarder: Honestly, I am not 100% sure what the contract says. I believe that Redz has the right to use media produced during the term of our sponsorship but not anything created since the termination of our contract. I should check that, I suppose.

Any press is good press, as they say, and anything that helps get the team's image out there is something I'll welcome.

I dont think any of the guys from the Hurricanes are actually on the Redz ads, I think its just pics of Carmen from last year.

My mistake, it's and ad for the Pepper Sticks, and it is a picture of Carmen. I don't know who Carmen is, so thats why I messed up. There is picture of the whole team in a Redz ad in the March 05 PGI, but it says "Redz salutes our 2004 pro sponsored teams" which I guess could be a good thing. I will try and learn about your team.
