I was looking for some paintball gear sites that accepted paypal as a form of payment. I know Brady's Paintball does this but does anyone know any other sites that will also accept paypal? Thanks.

We use paypal for about 93% of our sales. If you need a better rate just call your rep and have a chat with them. Our merchant account is a tad bit better but I am talking about .2 overall. We have even started taking paypal at the events we attend. We offer our customers the ability to log into their account onsite and make the purchase.

I would love every store if they did that.

Smart thinking!

I looked in here to see who takes paypal and I took my chances with Compulsive. I have to say they are the best online store I have delt with. I ordered my item, it was shipped out the same day, they sent me a tracking number, and I received it within 2 days. Outstanding!!!!

I used to take paypal on my site. The only thing that I have a problem with is that buyers can just screw you over by complaining even if you have delivered the goods with no issue. Beware paypal...

Bob,

If I understand you correctly... you were able to negotiate lower rates with Paypal?! We've negotiated lower rates with our standard merchant provider on several occasions, but I never even thought about trying it with Paypal.

Please correct me if I'm wrong...

Thanks Bob,

Jom

Yes. We have to keep a certain balance but other than that all is good ;) We actually perfer paypal now over our merchant account. We are owned by a parent corporation which our merchant account is in so that ends up being a nightmare at times with customers trying to figure out who they bought from. With paypal, most of our customers still associate us as TheAngelGuy so we have no issues.

Wait why is paypal safer than everything else? Isn't it true if you pay with your credit you can cancel the payment?

Bob Sandifer

Well I dont know if it is safer for the customer but it is safer for the merchant. Due to the volume of product that we move through paypal they investigate a claim from a customer before taking action. Our merchant account just assumes that we are in the wrong and gives the customer a refund. We have been ripped a few times with this method.

So I think depending on what side of the counter you are on depends on the better payment method.
