View Full Version : Anybody live in the Staunton/Charlottesville, VA area?
I might be moving to Charlottesville from Upstate, NY in a few months. My mom lives in Staunton and my wife and I just want out of NY because there are no jobs and my unemployed *** needs something to do!
Anyway, are there any paintball places/fields in these areas?

I live in Harrisonburg, a lot of pretty good fields in VA. Most of the good competition and bigger facilities are in the DC area though. Like Pevs, OA (That is in maryland but nonetheless), TaneyTown (also in maryland), and VAG in the DC area all have a lot of teams.

hey man,
My team, Soulbane, is in the Harrisonburg/Bridgewater area. We have our own speedball field and head up to Strausburg sometimes to play at Skyline Paintball. But if you are interested, we are trying to find a decent 5 man team to play( 'cause Incult ends up kicking the crap outta us and they are busy with other games most of the time). This also applies to any others who are interested in playing against us. All we ask is no newbs. They take too much time and paint to train. But anyways I can be reached at pgman@adelphia.net if you are interested. Our website is www.geocities.com/frznoasis/ so feel free to check it out.

Thanks for the info. I haven't been in the paintball scene for a few years so i'm just getting back into it. I'm not a newbie but i'm definatley rusty. I'm just trying to find a field that doesn't charge 30 bucks just to play speedball.

Probably the closest "nice" field to Charlottesville is Skyline in Strasburg(www.skylinepaintball.com) They have lots of fields and lots of players(tourney & rec). Its about 1 1/2 hours from Charlottesville.
There is also a field in Charlottesville but I've heard bad things about them. One other field is in Fishersville which is almost in Staunton, its run by nice people but doesn't have a huge following.
