I saw the websites for wolverine paintball and for Line of Fire paintball fields in Hendersonville. Has anyone played either of fields? Are they good, etc., etc. I will be in Brevard NC for vacation the week of July 20-27. These were the only two fields i saw within a reasonable distance. Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

I have played at "LINE OF FIRE " a lot , and allways have a great time there . The staff is great and the fields are awesome .Its a great place to play . As for Wolverine i have only played tournaments there, never rec-ball , so i dont really know what there recball fields are like,They have a nice proshop and from the looks of the rec fields im sure they are great . I agree with MadCow give both a try if at all possible !

I play Line of Fire regularly. Wolverine is ok if you’re playing in a tourney, but for rec ball, Line of Fire is definitely the place to play. Much better speedball course, and a cool little ghost town type set up at Line of Fire vs one mediocre speedball course with the rest woods at Wolverine. I don’t want to dis the guys at Wolverine though, so go ahead and try em out if ya want to, but I’d give Toby at Line of Fire a call first 828-891-2399. Hopefully I’ll see you out there the 20th. I’m the crazy Irish kat w/ the blue C&C IR3.

thanks again for the info. i read on the line of fire site that they are not open on sunday. i am leaving PA and will be arriving late Sat. night and i am leaving the following saturday so unfortunately i will either have to play at Wolverine or some other close field. i called line of fire and although they are open during the week they don't have any big groups that we could latch on to. do you know if there's any other close fields i could play at. in PA. the big walk-on day is sunday, reserved groups usually play on saturday. just different i guess.

hmmmmm.....

Theres a few fields other than Wolverine, but they are at least 45 min to an hour away and their quality is probably sub-standard to Wolverine's, as far as quality refs and safe standardized play is concerned (you know how we red-necks get down here) so it wouldn't be worth the trip. LOF is closer to Brevard, and its probably worth the trip just to stop in and say hi (its on the way to Wolverine from Brevard).

No worries though...if Wolverine has their Sup-Air field up it will be a fun filled day...Big Bubbles No Troubles. May be able to get a small group together sometime during the week, if your dying to play at LOF just lemme know.

Have fun in Brevard....ahhh the land of a thousand waterfalls...

i guess i will play at wolverine on sunday. i'm taking my father-in-law and it's his first time playing. i don't want to subject him to crazy irish guys with IR3's looking to relive the glory days of the south :) LOL!! :D If I can convince my wife to let me play twice in one week (it is my vacation), what day could you get a group together? email me at "ibis_92@hotmail.com" talk to you.
