That place is awsome i got a non-vision impy vert reg for 480 thats like what at pevs hmmmm??? 520 and even if u go to buy one at the fairfax store robert or what ever his name wont let u order one and makes u get the timmy. i walk in there to order a impulse he talks me out of it and tells me to think about a timmy well im happy i did that cause then i had time to call check it and got it for 480. now for service it took pevs 5 days to install my brothers blade trigger and stripped one of his screws and did not adjust it at all. now the guy at check it said he would install it in 10 minutes and adjust in 30 and he does not have any in stock yet so he said you can order any kind of trigger off the internet and he would install it for free. then when u buy a nitro there u get a year free refills my P.E. 68/4500 was 240 with the year free fills.

And why is Pevs pushing timmys????
o yea timmys are only 600 i think at check it

pevs fields are better, they are much better w/ alot of guns exept impys because they don't like them i have one, go to check it ask them what they have for impys i'll tell u what they have 2 tapworms SICK, tapeworms suck (imo). pevs is great w/ timmys they have them for sale every 2 mo. or so for 588 and they are 610 normaly, btw timmys are a better value i will admit especialy for 588 or even 610, they have ace, lpr, hpr, better stock trigger, better stock barrel, lcd, costomer service that exists, (i believe smartparts costomer service is lost in the jungle, somewhere in Brazil)
and i am comparing the timmy to a vision impy, a stock impy w/ delrin bolt, blade trigger is much better for about 470 bucks then the timmy at 588, 610 ohh man pevs rips you on some guns but can acctualy fix them i bought my cocker originaly from check-it (first cocker didn't know how 2 time them yet) they didn't time my cocker right ahahh pi$sed me off.

moral of the story, buy popular guns from pevs play at pevs, just don't buy impulse, rm, and other rare guns i can't think of(impys are not rare infact they are very popular but in northern virgina the big thing is cockers, angels, timmys, and my matrix tops em all hehehe.......

Todd is on Bob Long's Ironmen. They all use Timmy's. Timmys have now found there way to pevs because of Todd. Now everyone realized how much of a good gun it is. This is why that guy was pushing timmy's....

i was deciding between a few guns and matt and joe talked me into getting a timmy and im super glad, ive had a couple user error problems at the beginning but pevs always fixed it and gave it back perfect.

i concure, i hate check it, back when i was a newb i went in there for fills and stuff and the owner, JIM yelled at me for nothing and when i went to sell my impuslet it came back broken the bastards

heh heh heh my thoughts on Check It:

1) I would never support a store that pushes Smart Parts as much as they do !

2) Their paint prices ARE cheaper.... but who knows exactly how old their paint is ! Pev's gets their paint WEEKLY.

3) In the 10 years I have been playing paintball Jim (the short little smelly Hobbit that he is) always has derogatory comments about the guns I have owned. Jim always says "Now why would you want to own a _____ (gun, barrel, part) like that ?". Like he's some world-class player or something. That's gonna make people wanna come back and buy more stuff from him ...... NIMROD !

4) I actually went to his field last summer to try night paintball. I was traumatized by the porta-potty there since it literally had doo-doo smeared on the seat, walls, toilet paper and ceiling. Absof*ckinglutely disgusting. Oh and he told us to leave when we refused to pay the field fee when 7 guys (including my group of three) were the only ones there.

5) You have to wonder about a store who's main employees are part time highschool kids who constantly have to be yelled at and reminded of what they are doing to CUSTOMERS paintguns. I'm pretty sure Pev's employs a lot more full-time factory trained Airsmiths who are in the paintball industry for a living.

6) He might charge $5 less for a blade trigger but he will RAPE YOUR butt on other stuff. For Example a stainless steel screw for a Cocker gripframe will cost you $5 @ Check-It ... a short drive down Rte 28 to the Sears Home Hardware and it will cost you $.85. Make no mistake he makes his money off of you one way or another.

7) They give you attitude if you hang out in the store to wait for your nitro to cool off and ask for a top-off. That is if any of the monkeys there even knows HOW to get your tank pressure up to 4500.

8) They think Angels are "overpriced status symbols" when they are on the wall there .... nice !

Jim offered me a job at Check It a few months ago... apparently they are getting more customers than ever now because he says Pevs is bringing more kids into paintball and for some reason little kiddies like to shop at Check It and play at Hogback.
