the rebel xtreme is so far my favorite gun and since i do a lot of rebuilding work i know a few secrets.. when i first got the rebel a few month's back i realized that as it's primary barrel it was 12 inches which is larger than most guns primary barrels..
when i fired it it's distance and accuracy surprised me because i have heard lots of complaints about it's accuracy. after i fired about 200 rnds i had no chopped balls or any that danced round, it also isn't a co2 or n2 gulper. i like the the thumb screw velo changer and light trigger pull which is gauged at a half pound to a pound . another thing i like is that the the gun is very sturdy.
now there are a few bad things that can be easily fixed such as when you fire the first few rounds a couple of screws come loose that were never tightened in the factory, the solution is to make sure the screws are tightened before you fire. another problem is that the rubber hose in about 1/3 of the guns sometimes sring leaks if this does make sure that the hose is tight and there is no debris on the threads. if it ia leak in the hose itself you can easily get it replaced for about 15-30 dollars depending on where you buy. other than those problems the rebel xt is a very reliable gun.
