The SoCal Tourney thread

Many of you are finding it difficult to use this forum because of the clutter. In an effort to help organize and reduce clutter/redundant tournament threads, please post all tournament threads in the Tournament West forum, then post a link in this thread. This is short term "test" to see if his idea might help alleviate the congestion. A link to this thread has been added to the Ultimate Sticky. Please post any ideas/suggestions in the "Suggestions for the Ultimate Sticky" stickied thread.

By now, almost all the tournament threads have been moved to the Tournament West forum. Feel free to post tournament links in this thread, but post new links, only! This is not a discussion thread, so please chat in the actual tournament info threads. Always start on the last page, going backwards, for all the most recent postings. If this system works, then we'll continue using this more efficient set up. So let's give it a try and see how it goes.

Again, post tournament threads in the Tournament West forums, then reply with a link in this thread.

Attention!!! this is for all teams entering the Ultimate Paintball USA Series on June 18th. The gun rules have been changed due to saftey concerns. The Rule for all guns will be Capped Ramp at 15 or PSP mode OR uncapped Semi. Guns will be closely monitered for excesive bounce and ramping markers exceeding the 15 bps limit. To clarify, your markers will be checked before the game and at the reffs discression. If your gun is in a true semi mode your bps is uncapped. If your marker is in a ramping/PSP mode your marker must be capped at 15.

Alright, the Ultimate Paintball Summer Series tournament event #1 has been postponed due to circumstances beyond our control. That means all you teams who weren't able to play because of the date can still register for the tournament. The Ultimate Summer Series has been re-scheduled to SUNDAY JUNE 26th, still at redlands park, still giving away $5,000 in CASH PRIZES, and still giving away a $50,000 sponsorship package to the series champ. teams can still register at www.ultimatepaintballusa.com sorry for any inconvienace, we just want to put on the best tournament possible for our teams.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the June 18th tournament has now been officially POSTPONED. The tournament has NOT been canceled - it has been rescheduled and WILL take place on SUNDAY, JUNE 26th, 2005 at Redlands Paintball Field. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused to your team, and we hope that you will still be able to join us.

What to do next:
If your team is available and would still like to enter the tournament on Sunday, June 26th, please register online at www.ultimatepaintballusa.com

It is absolutely necessary that you contact us so that we can best determine how many spots will be left for other teams to enter. Please note that this tournament has now been capped at 20 teams for this event. This means that there will be a MAXIMUM of 20 teams playing for $5000 in total CASH PRIZES!
