I was always curious about Davey's comments in the SC Ironmen's team profile in Facefull, I forget which issue. Basically, I remember it saying something like, What question would you like to be asked? Who would you cut from the team? and then the next part was What would be your answer? I'd cut Rich Telford. So there was that and then the question, Something you hate? and the answer was Rich Telford. Then a couple of months later, Davey was on Miami Effect. So was there a brief stint of animosity between Davey and Rich or was Davey just joking around?

To Cawl001, paintball has been one of the best things ever to happen to me in life. So I owe it to paintball to keep going as long as I can. It gets tough sometimes with all the traveling and not being at home but it is a chain reaction. Cause I play paintball I get to enjoy life, I have freedom in my life, cause all I do is play paintball.

thanks for the memories davey, i have your old ironman jersey, which has some serious mojo happening. glad to see you playing with xsv, got a couple old ironmen on there. good stuff, you're one of the best man, keep doing what you do. i think i got it from you at the AC open in NJ in 2002 (maybe) i either got yours there or i got telfords jersey there and yours in chicago, i can't remember for sure, but thanks again, that's one of my most prized posessions for sure.

Man with the mental part of the game. Right before big games I will just take a second to walk through my game plan, and not the teams game plan but your game plan what you want to do if everything goes right.

As for making moves at practice never second guess yourself cause thats what practice is for, it doesn't matter who wins at practice just work on making a move as soon as you think it.

When you walk on the field you have to confidence in yourself and respect for who you are playing. I don't care who you are playing just have respect not fear you have a paintball gun as well.

Very ture Mr. Williamson, I had not thought of the difference between respecting and fearing the opposing players. I had an approch similar to yours, I know and understand that there are players of different styles and abilities but all are human and not untouchable.
What sets us all appart is the amount of time we have put into the game and how often we play best skilled opponents. Thanks once more

yo i shot davey at a clinic in NY... needless to say i think he took some of my talent ;) lmk if you remember that clinic with matty, mr U, Cuba, and Ollie... cuz I won that **** ;) oh and you were definitly the coolest coach... best part of the clinic was learning about the upper deck, but i havent had a chance to get to use it.
